Driver Education

Congratulations to all the students who completed the driver training course this summer. Most of the students were either  8th or 9th graders.  All 72 students passed the course.  This is outstanding!  Kent City continues to offer Driver Education at an affordable price for our students.  Unlike private driving schools our students are taught by teachers who they have known and trusted for years.

I would like to thank and commend Mr. Wilson and Mr. Sarachman for the tremendous job they do as instructors. A special thanks to Mrs. Vanholstyn for assisting in the testing process and Mr. Helsel and Mr. Johnson for getting the cars ready to use.

Two of the cars were furnished by Kent City Ford and we hope to continue that association for years to come. A great big thanks to the  people at Kent City Ford.
